| I went to the Junior/Senior Prom with my future husband, Mike. My mom was very strict and said I could only go if I paid for everything myself. So I went all over my neighborhood to solicit help from all my friends and neighbors for all my prom stuff. I felt like the bell of the ball when my date picked me up prom night, because the whole neighborhood at contributed. When I arrived at the prom, I forgot that there was a long split in my gown, and lifted it up to step up and almost showed my "Christmas" as the old folks used to say. lol | |
