I was with the first class of 9th or 10th graders to start at Andrews when it was first opened. I can't remember which (lol). But, I do remember all the hostility and fear attached to those first months. The principal enactet a rule something like 3 inches apart when we are in the hallway to keep people from fighting. But after a while he had to come up with something else, because they were all over each other kissing and hugging (lol) And lastly, I think my graduation class outlawed the bacalaurette ceremony because of the religious conitation associated with it which I thought was so sad! :-( Posted: 01/28/2010 |
